Jack's 3rd Birthday Week

Jack has had a wonderfully prolonged birthday celebration this week! Jack's Grandma and Papa Martin arrived last Friday night, and the presents have been coming daily since then! We gave Jack his "big boy" bike a week early so he could learn to ride it with Papa's help. They have had lots of adventures - Marbles Children's Museum, the mall, Goodberrys, and an outing to Pullen Park. Chris and I went out of town for two days, and Jack and Sammy didn't even notice we were gone! (Guess it's time to start booking some more trips without them!)

Jack is very proud of his new Superman jammies! He woke up to personalized birthday pancakes today (his birthday), and has worn himself out jumping on his new trampoline from Aunt Colie. We took an outing to Pullen Park, and he finally got to ride the paddle boats with Daddy. We ate a special birthday dinner at Jason's Deli (his request), then came home to open the rest of his presents. He loved all of his new toys - we had to drag him away from his new drilling table (thanks Grandma and Papa Hankins!), and he went to sleep playing with his new Geotrax trains in his new camping tent. What a big week!
