Sweet little Jack is growing up! He is "a good little monkey, and always very curious" (those of you who read Curious George will recognize this famous line). Jack has been asking lots of questions about his family lately, and really wants to fly in an airplane to visit everyone. He is very excited about his Thanksgiving trip to Minnesota to see Great Grandpa and Grandma Gaustad! I have told him stories about visits to their house growing up, and he thinks it will be great fun to meet them again! He is also pretty interested in visiting my mom "up in heaven with God and Jesus." He asks every night for me to tell him a story about my mommy up in heaven - it's very sweet, and has been fun to share memories with him. We've been talking about how to get to heaven - his version of the story is "I'll take my heart out and give it to Jesus, and he'll take it up the elevator to heaven, where God will wash it in the bathroom sink to make it clean..."

What wonderful talks you have had with him. What good questions he is asking and the ideas he has about God and Heaven. That's precious! Thanks for sharing!
